I was shocked to find out that my old hunting license issued in the state of NY when I was just 14 or 15 years old was enough to allow me to legally get a CCL here in Florida. I could not believe that the state actually had all my information save from some 25 years ago and with a simple request, faxed me an exact duplicate of my old hunting license which was enough training to allow me to carry. I didn't have to attend the carry class to get my license because I had already been through a class for my hunting license when I was 14. Shocking but true. I love Florida's support for those who choose to carry.
