For what it's worth with all the different guns I've owned or own, I almost always end up with my little buddy - the 38 snubby. I find she's got the right amount of just about everything - light weight, compact size, Crimson Trace laser, 38 caliber with plenty enough stopping power and on top of it all, she's a revolver - pull the trigger and she goes boom.
The gun is a very popular carry option for many, including women. It doesn't kick like a mule and it's got enough "juice" to stop a bad guy in his tracks if required.
I understand the argument for "carry the biggest gun you physically can" but in reality, if you're not comfortable, you're just not going to carry as often. For those with a carry concealed license, this little 38 may be the perfect addition to your shortlist of favorite carry guns.
